I decided to get my degree in this field because I wanted to help others learn to improve their communication skills, deepen their relationships, and reach their goals. In the past, I have enjoyed working with couples collaborating to improve their relationship, athletes looking to reconnect with themselves after their athletic career ended, and athletes struggling to manage life and the demands of their sport.

I have always felt that healthy communication can resolve many of our challenges, and enjoy giving people the tools to improve the communication in their lives. I especially loved training in Gottman Couples Therapy, and found the method to be effective in helping couples identify perpetual issues, improve stagnancy in their relationship, and create empathy and understanding for each other. I am honored to be a source of support and provide a safe space where people can come to feel completely heard and validated. My favorite moment in the therapy room is the moment where self awareness has increased and the ability to navigate a challenging situation in a new way has developed.
