Process Groups

Group therapy is an effective tool for healing because it creates an environment where you and your experience are seen, heard, and truly witnessed by your peers.

Our groups are led by trained therapists and social workers. They run on a weekly basis and are considered open groups, meaning that new people can join at any time as long as they have completed an individual intake session with the group facilitator.

Some of the reasons folks join and love participating in process groups include:

  • You Are Not Alone - it’s one thing to sit in individual therapy and have your therapist listen to your experience, it’s a whole other level of empowerment to share your experience with peers who have been through it and get it.

  • Consistent Community - group therapy touches on something that individual therapy can’t - the power of community. Being present with others in your area who have a shared live experience can lead to some incredibly meaningful connections

  • Accessible Care - even with insurance, the cost of therapy can add up quickly. Group therapy sessions are built with lower rates to be as accessible as possible, providing professional care at a sustainable price.

  • The Impact of Collective Healing - healing in community allows us the space to examine our systems and engage in liberation through our collective empowerment. By sharing our experiences, we set the framework for making greater change in our communities and our world.

Survivors of Sexual, Psychological, & Emotional Abuse

This process group is a supportive space for women and non-binary individuals who are healing from some form of sexual or relationship abuse and are seeking a community to help hold the hope with you.

As a survivor of narcissistic abuse and a trained domestic violence advocate, I know how toxic and abusive relationships can leave survivors feeling lost, isolated, and uncertain about where to go or what comes after. I also know and understand the reality that survivors are taught to mistrust their own intuition and lived experience. This can lead to difficulty forming or navigating new relationships of any kind because of the impact of abuse on the nervous system and on your ability to trust others.

This group will meet weekly in-person, providing a confidential space that utilizes talk therapy and focused mindfulness for participants to share their story, reclaim their voice, and support the collective healing of survivors.

Support for Pet Loss

Losing a beloved pet can be a profound loss—one that others don’t always understand. This group offers a compassionate space to grieve openly, find support, and explore the many emotions that can accompany pet loss, including sadness, guilt, anger, and unresolved feelings. Together, we’ll make space to process your grief without judgment and without having to hear, “It was just a pet.” Through shared reflection and a supportive group process, we’ll explore the loss of your pet, while making space for the memories, relationships, and earlier experiences that may be woven into your experience of loss.

This group will meet once a week in person. Whether your loss is fresh or you’ve been grieving quietly for a long time, there is space for you here to honor the bond you had with your pet, and support one another through the process of healing.

The Optimistic Parents Club

Parenting can be one of life's greatest joys—and one of its greatest challenges. Whether you're raising a neurodivergent or neurotypical child, parenting a child with ADHD or autism, or feeling overwhelmed by parenting stress, you don't have to do it alone.

With significant experience working with neurodivergent and neurotypical children, parents, couples, and families, I understand every family's journey is different. Whatever your family is facing, no matter how intense, you'll be met with compassion, understanding, and validation—not judgment.

The Optimistic Parents Club is a compassionate, structured, in-person support group where parents build confidence, strengthen family relationships, and learn practical, evidence-based parenting strategies to use at home, whether attending with a partner or on your own.

Tuesdays at 6 pm in person in Burbank

Together we'll tackle everyday parenting challenges like tantrums, getting kids to listen, screen time, sibling rivalry, and bedtime battles. We'll also work through more complex parenting and family challenges like school issues, difficult behaviors, parental burnout, accepting the reality of your family's situation, and finding a path forward together.

Every session also features my signature Challenge-of-the-Week, where you'll receive guidance, practical feedback, and fresh ideas from experienced therapists alongside the support and wisdom of parents who have faced similar challenges and are thriving.

Together, we'll help you become the confident, connected, and optimistic parent you deserve to be.
